Caring Fieldmarketing is introducing StoreCare, a new incident management system for the cosmetics fixtures we manage in-store. This page explains the plan, why we need data from you, and what your involvement looks like.
Caring Fieldmarketing manages cosmetics fixtures in-store on behalf of brands like yours. Today, when something goes wrong at a fixture — a missing product, a damaged shelf, a planogram that's out of date — that information travels through informal channels and is easy to lose track of.
We're introducing StoreCare, a structured incident management system, so that issues at your fixtures are reported, tracked and resolved consistently, with the right information available at every step.
StoreCare is structured around three portals, each serving a different group of people involved in keeping fixtures in good shape. Access and permissions are scoped per role, and the platform supports multiple languages so it works for everyone involved — including in-store staff and our own field teams.
Where issues at a fixture are reported as they're spotted in-store.
Where Caring's field teams pick up, action and resolve reported issues.
Where the setup data you provide is held, and progress can be tracked.
Roles and permissions differ per portal — store staff see only what's relevant to reporting, field teams see the operational queue, and oversight access is scoped appropriately. The exact approval workflow for each brand (for example, whether your team reviews and approves an issue before it's actioned, or whether it goes straight to our field teams) is still being finalised — see the open question below.
The planogram and article data you submit is the foundation StoreCare is built on. Without it, the platform cannot match a reported issue back to the right fixture, shelf position or product.
Your planogram tells us exactly how your fixture is laid out — which shelf holds which product, at which position. This becomes the reference layout the system uses for every fixture of that type, in every store where it appears.
When a store employee or field team member reports an issue, they can point to a specific shelf or product. Your article data (EAN codes, article names, internal codes) lets the system identify exactly what's affected, rather than a vague description of "something on the third shelf".
Because we hold your reference planogram, deviations from it — wrong products, empty positions — become visible and actionable, rather than something that's only noticed on an occasional store visit.
We combine your fixture data with the specific stores and locations where that fixture type is present, so reports and resolutions can be tracked at the individual store level.
On location tracking: we considered using QR codes on fixtures to track this, but concluded it isn't needed for issue reporting — the system identifies the right fixture without it, and adding a QR code would only add friction to the process for store staff. A QR code does remain useful for one specific case: tracking when a fixture itself is physically relocated. That's not part of the core rollout, but something we may offer separately later on.
Your involvement is concentrated upfront, in getting your fixtures set up correctly. Once that's done, the system runs largely without further input from your side, other than keeping us informed of changes.
One submission per fixture type and width you have in-store, via the upload portal we'll share with you.
An Excel file per fixture with EAN codes, article names, internal codes and shelf positions, matching the planogram.
If your planogram changes — a new product, a reshuffled layout, a seasonal update — let us know so the system stays accurate. You'll designate a contact person for this when you submit.
We're finalising whether issues affecting your fixtures are routed to you for approval first, or go directly to our field teams for faster resolution. We'll confirm which option applies to you once this is settled.
We're asking brand partners to submit planograms and article data via the upload portal.
Internal build phasing is working towards completion around week 29.
A pilot phase follows the summer period, ahead of a fuller rollout.
No. Your fixture and article data is used solely for your own fixtures, and is not shared with other brands.
Without your planogram and article data, your fixtures cannot be set up in StoreCare, which means issues at those fixtures cannot be tracked or routed correctly.
Beyond keeping us informed of planogram changes, no — the day-to-day reporting and resolution of issues is handled by store staff and our field teams.
Use our upload portal to submit your planograms, article data and fixture details — supporting multiple fixtures.
